Up and coming artist Ben Davis mixes pop, R&B, and dance genres to create unique and diverse songs that challenge contemporary pop music. Influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder and Tina Turner, this Los Angeles native began singing and performing at an early age. While in college, Davis secured his first professional recording gig, singing lead vocals on the song “Philosophy” written by Ryan Tedder of One Republic, the song was featured in the movie “Step Up.” After graduating from UCLA in 2008, Ben joined the short-lived boy band Central Avenue, which was produced by Grammy winning producer, Greg Lawson (Anastacia, Jennifer Lopez). After the group disbanded, Ben joined the acclaimed party band, the LA Allstars with whom he toured internationally and performed at iconic venues such as The House of Blues, Austin City Limits, MGM Grand Arena (Las Vegas) and MGM Macau.
Davis has performed for over three hundred private, corporate, and philanthropic events including performances of The National Anthem for The Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers, Sacramento Kings, San Francisco Giants, and the Phoenix Suns to name a few. He has shared the stage with well-known musicians such as Christina Aguilera, Isaac Hayes, and Sugar Ray and most recently opened for Katy Perry on New Year's Eve for a private event held at Cesar's Palace Las Vegas.
Now pursuing his solo career, he has released two singles, the infectious pop ballad “One More Day” and his newest single, “Mind Games” which is an up-tempo pop/dance track that is sure to be a hit! His music can best be described as the lovechild of Bruno Mars & Katy Perry and perhaps a descendent of Pharrell Williams too. If those are indeed the ingredients to the recipe, then Ben Davis has a bright future ahead of him.
